API 7 layer developer specialist
Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum is currently seeking a motivated, experienced, and highly-skilled API 7 layer developer
specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, the API 7 layer developer specialist ensures the technical
implementation of projects to support the digital initiatives. Full system lifecycle required including development,
test, and implementation of highly robust and reliable API/Micro-Services solutions to meet complex business
functions. He/She will translate the operational needs of Louvre Abu Dhabi into the innovative technical solutions.
He/She is responsible to create custom-designed solutions/ integrate our technology platforms with other
operations.

Sound experience of Broadcom APIM (Layer 7 API) suite of the product including Broadcom API Gateway,
Broadcom API Portal
Hands on experience Broadcom Layer 7 API Integration platform as admin Developer
Develop APIs using the Developer portal for Broadcom Layer 7 Gateway
Participate in resolving platform related issues in Broadcom Layer 7
Experience in designing and implementing API platform for high traffic API solutions
Create Swagger Documentation for all the APIs and published in Developer Portal Creating for Custom
Policies according to the requirement of the customer
Write test plans for end to end integration
Configure Cluster wide variables and Properties file at gateway level
Lead Capacity Planning and Management activities to ensure that the Broadcom API platform will be able
to handle additional transactions in the future
Lead analytical and technical sessions to solve technical problems faced by the application teams trying to
onboard Broadcom API
Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to the Broadcom API.
Lead root cause analysis session to understand what causes particular issues in Production and come up
with solutions that will prevent them from happening in the future
Ensure documentation is created and remain updated
Working on Critical issues specific to Broadcom Layer 7 tools
Setting up the documentation pages for all the APIs available on gateway
Configuring the Cluster wide properties in the gateway level Involved in setting up the Developer Portal and
perform admin task
Perform Layer 7 product Administration
Adhere to architecture design, guidelines and best practices –
Scope projected work for projects and forecast the effort need
Utilize and develop reusable components for the Enterprise
Implement appropriate controls to ensure compliance with information and communications security and
use policies
Experience of existing API Testing Tools (Postman, SoapUI, or any equivalent tools)
Good understanding of REST API and JSON
Experience of designing infrastructure details, cluster details, installation, configuration, performance
tuning and customization of Broadcom API platform.
Experience with high availability, load balancing and failover configurations with Apigee Facilitate DR
(Disaster Recovery) exercises
Good presentation and communication skills
Responsible for the day-to-day execution, development of scope and meeting deadlines according to plan.
Participate to the Organization of Business applications architecture in accordance with the organization's
policy within a secure environment.
Prepares reports on the overall performance of the projects to the Enterprise Architect.
Instruct, direct, and quality assure the work of other programmers and analysts.
Manage technical requirements/issues/concerns between internal teams and external technical teams
around the area dealing with API/API Management/Middleware

Qualifications

BACHELORS DEGREE or higher is strongly preferred in Computer Science or related discipline
6+ years’ experience in IT operations with minimum of 3 years in middleware
Ability to understand and find appropriate applications for data and analysis results
Significant experience with several projects
