1. Give a step-by-step watershed transform for 1D grayscale cross section shown in Figure 1. Show a
drawing of the cross section at each step, showing “water” levels and dams constructed.
2. Perform a watershed segmentation using distance transform for image wood_dowels.tif.
3. Complete the watershed segmentation using gradients for images blobs_original.tif and
small_blobs_original.png.
