16-19 Centre Dress Code 2020-21 1.1 NAME School 16-19 Centre has no formal uniform. The aim of this dress code is to allow young people to express themselves as individuals, but in an appropriate and modest way. It places an emphasis on the important role that our Post-16 young people have in contributing to the ethos of the wider school. 1.2 Young people should dress appropriately for the subjects they are studying, particularly those following vocational programmes or attending work experience placements. 1.3 Our Post-16 students act as ambassadors for, and role models to the rest of the school; they need to set the standard of dress and general conduct against which other young people judge themselves and to which they aspire. 1.4 Post-16 students should remember their dignity and set the standard for others.
