- Consider geriatric patients who can have renal
impairment
related to dehydration from the medication
Interactions
Medication Administration
Do not break or crush
medication
- Sprinkle capsule can be
sprinkled on a tsp of soft food
and follow with fluids
Nursing Interventions
Monitor closely for notable
changes in behavior that
could indicate the emergence
or worsening of suicidal
thoughts or behavior or
depression
Risk of bleeding with use of blood thinners like ASA,
Warfarin, NSAIDS
