BUTTONS AND PORTS ON A COMPUTER
Every computer has it own set of butons and ports .
In this lesson we are going to learn about some of the most common
ones including :
What they are for ?
How to recognize them?

BUTTONS
Some buttons are uinversal like the
Powe button.
Depending on the type of the computer
you have it my be:
• On the front.
• On the back .
• In the inside.
POWER BUTTON
The power button is a round or
square button that powers an
electronic device on and off.

POWER SOCKET
CHARGING PORT
Is where you will connect your
power cord.
If you have a laptop you will
have a charging port instead of
power socket.

USB PORT
USB-C PORT
On USB port you can plug in
any device you might need like
Keyboards ,printers and USB
drives.
USB-C port can be used for
many different things.

MONITOR PORT
DISPLAY PORT
Is where you will connect your
monitor.
Is where you will connect your
laptop to a separate monitor.

AUDIO PORT
Lets you connect to the inetrnet
if you’re not using wifi.
You can use it to plug in wired
headphones or speakers.
