Write answers to some of the questions to finish off. Discuss as a class. Kids on Leadership video: WALT – identify and discuss characteristics of good leaders 1. Write today’s date and heading “Kids on Leadership video”. Underline your heading. 2. Watch the short video ‘Kids on Leadership’ – it’s just over 3 minutes long. 3. After you’ve watched the video, turn to your partner or group. Share all the words you remember the children using to describe what a good leader is. 4. Write these words in your books. 5. Rewatch the video. This time, watch and listen for the words they use and add them to your list. For discussion: • • How do their descriptions of good leaders compare or differ to ours? Do you agree or disagree with the views of children on the video? Writing about Leadership WALT – use information to write an explanation about leadership.
