Year 10 Drama – The Works of William Shakespeare

This term in drama, students are investigating International Drama and aspects of performance
in Elizabethan Theatre, particularly the works of William Shakespeare. The first text they will
be involved in is “Othello”. They have begun reading this confronting play about jealousy and
persuasion.
There is now an opportunity for the class to watch the movie of this powerful play.
As the movie is rated (M), I require you to give permission for your son/daughter to watch the
film.
