GUIDELINE ON INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT
The subject above refers. The following are the steps to be followed by all
students who are undertaking their industrial attachment.
1. Collect the attachment details form at the School of Business office or
in your respective campus and drop it at the School of Business office.
For the Distance Learning students, the form is on the DL Portal. This
should be done during the first week of your attachment. Ensure that
the email address is stated correctly and it is visible.
2. Go to the website under: Academics – School of Business & Public
Management – Documents. Download the logbook depending on the
course you are doing i.e. Diploma or BCOM. The minimum attachment
duration is 8 weeks. You are required to fill in your daily activities on
the form provided in the logbook. You will also be required to write a
report about the organization that you are in.
3. Within the period of your attachment, you will receive an email
notification of your attachment supervisor. Ensure that the supervisor
has signed the logbook. Once the supervisor has assessed you, you
have a timeline of one month to compile the report and the logbook
details.
4. The report and the logbook should be bound together in hard cover.
For diploma students the hardcover should be in RED whereas for
BCOM students the hardcover should be in GREEN.
5. Submit the bound logbook at the School of Business office.
