1) Ali’s Father appreciated him for making a good decision on buying a new bike, But later the
bike starts showing some defaults, So he starts blaming his mechanic that he didn’t inspect the
bike correctly that’s why bike has many defaults.
2) Let’s suppose my room is getting renovated so I ask my parents to let me decide what color
we should paint in the room. After the paint is done, the room looks very exquisite, so my
parents appreciate me and tell me that now onwards they will take decisions from me.
Sunk Cost Example:
1) Sara ordered KFC and she was waiting for her order to be delivered, she was assuming the
taste of the food. When the order was delivered she didn’t like the taste of it. But she had to eat
and finish it because she paid for the food and she was hungry.
2) Ahmed got admission in ABC Collage and he was expecting that this collage might be good,
but later on his experience there was not that great and it was far from his home. So he switched
to another collage which was really near to his house and it completely full filled his
expectations.
