1. Supernova/Dying Star

Process/Scheme:
A massive amount of gas in a star → A huge amount of gravity → Nuclear fusion in the star → Nuclear
energy prevents star’s gravity from crushing it → Eventually the star runs out of atoms to fuse → Gravity
crushes all the gas inside the star → Explosion of star (Supernova)
2. Sinkholes
Factors:

Water below ground
Water acidity
Process/Scheme:
Water gathers under an area of ground (Sometimes acidic) → Water is not drained out externally →
Water dissolves surrounding underlying rock → Pores, cracks, and cavities form underground → Ground
collapses or sinks forming a sinkhole
3. Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis

Earth’s magnetic field
The sun
Process/Scheme:
Sun releases charged particles into Earth’s atmosphere → Electrons from particles move to a higher
energy state → The higher energy are released as light → Northern lights

Better health care → Less deaths
Lack of family planning → More birth → Population exceeds capacity of a city/country →Overpopulation

Process/Scheme:
Disagreement between governmental decision → A group of people protesting → Uncontrolled/
disorganized groups with chaotic behavior → Destruction of property → Riots
