Course/ Module Aims
 This unit introduces learners to the health and safety requirements for carrying out simple vehicle maintenance and other
related tasks in vehicle workshops. It covers the general requirements of health and safety in vehicle workshops including:
personal responsibilities, common risks and hazards and health and safety information; the use of health and safety
practices and equipment; safe manual handling procedures; COSHH procedures; fire prevention and emergency
procedures.
