The company has several branches throughout Malaysia. The data recorded for each
branch is the branch address (street, city, state, and zip code) and the telephone number.
Each branch is given a unique branch number.
Each branch is allocated with a certain number of staff. Each staff is attached to only one
branch. The data recorded for each staff include his or her name, position, and salary.
Each staff is given a unique staff number.
Every staff in the company is very talented not only in taking pictures and videos, but also
with other skills such as editing, retouching images, reproducing, and framing
photographs. Thus, each staff has one or many skills. Each skill has a unique number and
description.
If a staff is married to another staff in the same company, the spouse’s staff number and
date of marriage will be recorded.
There are many services provided by the company. Each service will be given a unique
service number with some descriptions such as, name and price. The services can be
classified into two categories, namely photography and videography. Each category has
additional information, for example photography requires size of photo and photoshoot
date while videography requires time duration of the video.
Customers may reserve more than once but for each reservation there can only be one
service. Each reservation will be provided with a unique reservation number. Data that
need to be recorded are reservation date, reservation time, service number, customers’
IC number and staff number. One staff will be responsible for one reservation, but the staff
can also be in charge of many reservations per day.
Customers’ personal details such as IC number, name, email, and address (street, city,
state, and zip code) need to be recorded in the database.
