Individual Final Reflection 1. What do I now know that I didn’t know before? (knowledge) After completing the Collaboration Project, I realised that I have learned so many things I was not aware of earlier. Since I have not worked earlier in any company, I was not aware of the Workplace settings and trends. I did not know that physical and mental health was given so much importance at a workplace that companies even employ few strategies to promote a healthy workplace environment. In addition, from the secondary research, I discovered that most of the employees prefer to have flexible working hours at the workplace because this enables them to work more efficiently and increases their productivity. Earlier, I also believed in working hard without any break, but this project changed my perception of hard work. I adopted these learnings to complete this project, which actually proved to be helpful and helped me to improve the quality of my work. I used to do the work after taking proper rest or when I felt to be most productive during the day. With this, I was able to complete my work in lesser time, and the quality of work was also superior. Therefore, I learned about the importance and effectiveness of flexible work hours in life. 2. What can I now do that I couldn’t do before? (skills) We were taught the strategies to design the most effective and relevant survey questions during the Collaboration project. Our instructors also taught us the various types of questions that can be asked in the survey. From this, I developed the ability to design unbiased questions, which are free from ambiguity. It was also corroborated by the feedback that I received for the Primary research assignment, which stated that questions framed in the assignment were excellent. In addition to this., I also learned the right way to display the data graphically. I learned the importance of providing titles and names for the axes and choosing the right type of graphical representation that will help the audience to visualize data more clearly. Consequently, I have gained skills for framing the most effective survey questions and visually representing data through graphs. Overall, this improved my critical thinking and technical skills that are necessary for drafting inquisitive questions and data representation. 3. What do I now believe or value that I didn’t believe or value before? (attitudes) This project changed my opinion about teamwork. Earlier, I used to believe that I can only perform better in individual tasks because I was very specific about each and every task. However, I scored very good in all assignments of this project, which was the result of the hard work of all the team members. Therefore, now, I started believing in the power of teamwork because it helps to combine the skills and ideas of all the group members, which makes the work more diverse and better. Moreover, I discovered that discussions are very important for the success of group work. It is because this project necessitated a group meeting for each assignment, which enhanced the flow of information and improved the understanding of assignment requirements and tasks. It helped me to score good grades in the subject. Hence, I have learned that communication and discussions are a crucial part of group work. Communication for Global MGMT and Leadership
