Dear HHS Students, Parents, and Guardians:
As a reminder, the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) will be taking
place at HHS on:
Monday, May 16th - Freshman - ELA (English Language Arts)
(Including AM VoTec Students)
Tuesday, May 17th - Freshman - Math (Alg. I & II or Geometry)
(Including AM VoTec Students)
Wednesday, May 18th - Junior Science Part I
(Including AM VoTec Students)
Thursday, May 19th - Junior Science Part II
(Including AM VoTec Students)
Transportation:
There will only be the regular morning bus run.
If students are not testing, they can be dropped off at the following times:
Monday, May 16th & Tuesday, May 17th* @ 10:15 AM
Wednesday, May 18th & Thursday, May 19th @ 9:15 AM
*Seniors are expected to report to the Commons on Tuesday, May 17th @ 7:30 AM*
A special program and a breakfast have been organized.
If a student who is not testing arrives on their regular AM bus, they will report to the
main gym.
Important Reminders:
All students that will be taking the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA)
must check their testing locations at any of the locations listed below:
1. In the Commons, outside the Main Office near the stairs, on the left
2. Outside the 2nd floor School Counselors Office in the doorway
3. At the Main Entrance in the Lobby
If you do not see your name with the testing location, please report to the Main
Office and we will get you the appropriate location.
No hats, water bottles, cell phones, or smartwatches are allowed during testing.
