Description In Canada, patient satisfaction is an important performance indicator since the Canadian healthcare system (called Canadian Medicare) is primarily funded by the provinces and territories. Canadians pay a substantial amount of money for healthcare through taxes and as they pay taxes, they demand high-quality patient care and medical treatment. In order to get treatment, people go to public hospitals. One of the main patient satisfaction factors is waiting time. Patient waiting time starts as soon as he enters the hospital and finishes as he gets a prescription. Cutting patient waiting time would increase patient satisfaction and reduce the load on hospitals. As many these patients go to hospitals to get their prescriptions, the provincial government of Quebec decided to develop a project to predict the early preparation of pharmacy prescriptions. Currently, the average waiting time in Quebec is 13 mins. A Quebec’s on-premise data center dates its existence back to 2000s with minor upgrades in recent years. The project is given to Prophet consulting, who will overview the project implementation and consult developers on medical issues. Conditions: 1. Project budget is 2 million dollars. 2. Project must be completed in 4 months. 3. There are types of data available: 1) Historical data. Data of all patients, who visited hospitals in Canada and were discharged with pharmacy prescriptions. Data contains personal information, gender, symptoms, diagnosis and prescriptions. 2) Real-time data that is coming from different hospitals. Data contains personal information, gender, symptoms, diagnosis and prescriptions. Task Propose your solution for this problem.
