Site visit ob1servations and comments
Site name: New Kimthi 400kV substation
Date of visit: 03/05/2022
Observations:
1. It is observed that, no site activity is going on and all the deputed personnel deputed at site are
sitting idle. After checking with the concerned site in charge we come to know that the site activity
has stopped from 28th March 2022 onwards.
2. The existing canal in front of the transformer yard falls in the construction area of the boundary
wall , so the contractor informed us that we need to shift the canal temperedly to the transformer yard
for constructing the boundary wall.
3. The representative of M/s. GE, present at site, has informed that the dumped soil in the area of
the access route of approach road to the transformer yard and GIS , M/s GE planning to remove it as
early as possible for easy access to the yard.
Site name: Barabasi 400kV substation
Date of visit: 07/05/2022
Observations:
1. The personnel deputed at site were idle as there is no site work being carried out from 01th March
2022 Onwards.
2. As informed by the representative of M/s. GE, present at site and further physical verification of
the same at site, there will be a heavy rush of water from the hilltop during the time of monsoon
which needs to be provisioned to flow to the nearby existing drains.
3. It is as informed by NEA and the site personnel from M/s. GE , it is difficult for transportation
and supply of raw materials to the project site during the monsoon because of the condition of access
road form Barabasi town to project site will be not suitable for Material transportation.
