Therefore, it is recommended to put current date
as MRP date.


StckDS – Stock Day’s Supply – the
number of days the stock of a
material suffice if only the plant
stock is viewed.
 Considering stock only, how many
workdays can the current stock be enough
until Out of Stock.
 Negative – Shortage in the past
E.g. -36 means 36 working days
before today, the available stock
became negative.
 Positive – Shortage in the future.
E.g. 11 means 11 working days after
today, the available stock will become
negative.
 999 means we have surplus stock
which over the total requirement.

MD06 Example
Stock Days’ Supply – 10.5 = 10 + 0.5
Only considering stock = 99 pcs, the stock will become negative at Feb 28th,
(99-50-40-20 = - 11).
From Feb 15th to Feb 28th, there are 10 working days (6 days a week).
On Feb 28th, out of total requirement 20pcs, only 9 pcs is available, therefore
9/20 ≈ 0.5.
1st Receipt Days’ Supply – 16.4 = 16 + 0.4
Considering stock and Inbound Delivery 180003720 (99+25=124 pcs)
The stock will become negative on March 7th, therefore total working days =
16 days.
On March 7th, only 14pcs is available out of total requirement (40pcs),
therefore 14/20 ≈ 0.4
2nd Receipt Days' Supply - 28.3 = 28 + 0.3
Considering stock, inbound delivery and PO (99+25+70 = 174 pcs).
The stock will become negative on March 21st, therefore total working days =
28 days.
On March 21st, only 14 pcs is available out of 50 pcs, therefore 14/50 ≈ 0.3

To change the date format, simply use SU3 and re-login.
