SIME- DETAILED LESSON PLAN
MAY 14, 2021
I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
a. Explain the Ohms law.
b. Identify the formula of Ohms law.
c. Solve the problem using the correct formula of Ohms law.
II. Content
a. Subject matter: OHMS LAW
b. Materials:
1. Laptop
2. Projector
c. References: https://www.introduction-electrical-electronics...from
various fundamental laws which include coulombs law, OHMS LAW.
III. A. Preparatory Activities.
*Prayer
*Checking of attendance
*Review / recall
Class can you still recall our previous topic?
Last meeting we were able to discussed about 3-way switch
B. Activity:
1.” GUESS THE WORD”
Direction: Group the students into 3. Form this letter into a word. Those
who make it first I will give you a prize, 2nd and 3rd group.
What was the word being formed?
Presentation of the lesson
This time we will learn the Ohms Law.
But before that please read the objectives
2. “Treasure Hunting” ( make a box and put the names of scientist about
OHMS LAW. (AMP-Frenchman Andre M. Ampere)
(VOLT- Italian Alexandro Volta)
(OHM- George Simon Ohm)
C. Analysis:
1. What is law?Political Science Integration
2. What is Theory?
3. What is the difference between law and theory
Law- is a rule or set of rules created and enforce through social
government institutions to regulate behavior.
4. Why do you think Ohms law is very applicable in electronics and
Electricity
D. Discussion:
Ohms Law Magic Triangle

I= CURRENT
R=RESISTAN

Ohms law – defines the relationship between power, voltage, current and
resistance.(physics)
These basic electrical units apply to direct current, and alternating current..
Voltage- is measured in ” VOLTS”.
Symbolized by the letter “V”
Current- is measured in “Amps” Symbolized by the letter “I”
Resistance- is measured in “Ohms” symbolized by letter “R”

1. A Motor with an operating resistance of 32 is connected to a voltage source .
The current in the circuit is 2A . What is the voltage of the source?
Given: R= 32Ω, I= 2A
Required: V=?
Equation:V= IR
Solution: V= (2A)(32Ω)
Answer: 64V
2. Find the current through a resistor of 24Ω. If the voltage across the resistor is
6V.
Given: R= 24Ω, V= 6V
Required: I=?
Equation:I= V/R
Solution: I= (120V)(12 Ω)
Answer: I=10A
3 . A small light bulb is connected to 6V battery and draws 2A of current. What is
the reisistance of the bulb?
Given: V= 6V, I= 2A
Required: R=?
Equation:R= V/I
Solution: R= (6V)(2A)
