SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROJECT AT. ALLIED ANALYTICS SUBMITTED BY – NAME – PRERNA KHATTRI SAP ID500066019 ROLL NO- 27 COURSE – BBA DIGITAL MARKETING Details of the work ■ I completed my internship in inbound marketing with aerospace and defense as my domain. ■ In the first week of the internship we studied the basics of digital marketing through interactive skype sessions on link building, SEO, content marketing, social bookmarking, UTM parameters, overview of digital marketing, etc. ■ The best part was that we were provided articles to read, which enhanced our knowledge in the field of digital marketing. ■ We also learned about the competitors of Allied Analytics in the market and how they work. ■ A test was conducted after the successful completion of skype sessions to test our knowledge and how much we have learned in those sessions. ■ After 2 weeks, the work was started. My mentor gave a brief about my work; like how to create backlinks, SEO, using keywords, etc. and I was told to make a list of blogging and press release site. ■ I made total of huge list of blogging and PR sites including livejournal, wordpress, blogger, articlenews, prfree, etc, out of which we choose 10-15 sites to work on. This took me a week to select the sites and create an account. ■ I was provided with articles on aerospace and defense, which I had to post on those PR and blogging sites with backlinks, relevant keywords and also with a perfect headline. ■ I posted 90 blogs/day. Snap shot of my daily work: *Adding all the snapshots of my work was making the ppt very long, so I added some of the snapshots. PPO Allied Analytics provides business insights and market research reports to large as well as small and medium enterprises. As allied analytics is a digital marketing based company providing top solution right from data collection to investment advice. Also working with allied in these 45 days, I have learned that allied is one of those companies who have excellent and hard working employees and they help their fellow interns in all the possible way they can. As I am pursuing my BBA specialization in digital marketing, so, working with allied after my BBA will help me a lot in gaining my further knowledge and this company also works digitally. So, working with allied after my graduation will be a great opportunity. The another reason why I wanted to work with allied is, the way they conducted the whole process of selecting interns; including a quantitative ability test, content writing and an interview; this shows that they need well know ledged interns as well as workers. Also the company is very specific about their work and timings, which is their plus point. Project titles ■ Creating account on free PR and blogging sites ■ Creating free domains. ■ Submitting/uploading 90 blogs/day Creating account on free PR and blogging sites ■ Searching all the free PR and blogging sites on the internet took about a week. ■ I came up with 45 PR and blogging sites. ■ After that I created my account on all those 45 sites, and maintained an excel worksheet for that, which contained all the information regarding that; such as the name of the website, my user name, password and email id. Conclusion ■ These three projects and my overall internship was very helpful in boosting up my knowledge. I learned many things in this span of time. these projects helped me to know more about digital marketing and how things work. ■ Initially I didn’t knew much about generating backlinks and all but know I know how to generate back links, create domains, generate traffic, SEO, visibility all because of these projects. Improvement From Day One ■ This was my first ever internship also my first work from home internship. I had no clue how it will go but as the days passed by, I learned many things, I saw a change in myself, I was more confident than before, more professional and the most important thing, I was also able to work under pressure. ■ Since day one till the last day, I saw a visible change in myself, my behavior, my way of thinking, my typing speed, and also more knowledgeable than before. ■ Working these 45 days helped me a lot in learning new things, I didn’t handled much projects but all the things I did in these days were of great help; as we say quality matters over quantity, the same goes here. Learning I got from these projects will help me in my future. ■ Honestly speaking, I didn’t knew much about digital marketing, this is such a vast field, but working as a intern gave me an overview of this digital world and how things work. ■ I learned to generate backlinks, using relevant key words, creating domains, etc. ■ When I got to know I have to upload 90 blogs a day, I was very worried about how it will go, but sooner or later my typing speed improved and I learned to manage things smartly. ■ I would like to thank my mentor for providing me the right amount of knowledge, support and encouragement.
