Camping Under the Stars
It was a wonderful weekend camping trip for Sheena, Jedidiah and their dad. They packed up all
their stuff such as food, toys, books and headed out to the woods early in the morning.
They arrived at the campsite around 4 p.m. They unpacked everything, prepared dinner and
enjoyed it while watching the sun set. After their evening meal, they went on a boat ride in the river near
their camp until it’s dark.
As they lay down for the night, Sheena said, “Dad, look up at the sky and tell me what you see.”
Dad answered, “I see thousands and thousands of stars.”
“And what does that tell you?”, asked Jedidiah.
“It tells me that there are lots of stars and planets out there. It tells me that we are just a small part
of this gigantic universe.”
“It also tells me that there is a lot more still to discover. It tells me that the weather tomorrow will be
very pleasant.”
Dad went on and on about the sparkling night sky. A moment later, he said, “Sheena and Jedidiah,
what does this sight of millions of stars tell you?’
“It tells us that you forgot to bring the tent!”

Sheena, Jedidiah and their dad went camping on the weekend.
Don’t forget to bring a tent and first aid kits if you go on a camp.
They might feel cold and also might face the mosquitoes bite at night.
Dad might tell the kids to wear warm clothes, hats and they might create the clothes bed under the
tree.
Though Dad forgot to bring the tent, none of the kids got upset. Dad put the clothes on the ground
and made them big enough for them to lie down. While Dad was preparing the setting to sleep, kids
were putting on warm clothes. Dad put up a bonfire to keep them warm. After all, they all lie down
on the ground and start counting the stars. Gradually, the kids fell asleep soundly till the sun greets
them the next morning.
