Course Code Duration# Important Instructions CIVL6074 3 hours (The examination is expected to take two hours to finish and an hour extra is given for downloading the question paper and uploading the finished examination script.) NO grace period for answer submission and NO late submission is allowed. 1. Take-home examination is an openbook examination that can be completed anywhere students deem appropriate, with access to textbooks, lecture notes, and other resources that might be useful. 2. While students will be able to access course materials and other resources, they are expected to uphold academic integrity when doing the take-home examination. Therefore, all students should complete the take-home examination on their own. Students are not allowed to discuss, share, or check the answers with other candidates or any third party. 3. Students should upload an MS Word file to facilitate plagiarism checking by the Turnitin software. For calculationtype questions, student can either (1) type the steps and answers in the Word file or (2) scan their hand-written answers and put the resultant picture into the Word file. 4. Unlike the sit-in examination, there will not be any question time for the Takehome Exam via Moodle.
