Quick and Easy Apple Tart YIELDS: 8 PREP TIME: 20mins TOTAL TIME: 40mins Ingredients: ½ sheet 2 each 1/3 c 1 pinch Optional Puff pastry, thawed Apples, cored, halved, and sliced thin Brown sugar Salt Powdered sugar, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce for serving Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. 2. Cover your sheet tray with parchment paper. 3. Place the puff pastry onto the covered & sprayed (nonstick spray) sheet tray. 4. Core and thinly slice your apples, place them in a bowl and add the sugar and salt. Stir to combine. 5. Allow to sit for a few minutes. 6. Arrange apple slices on the pastry rectangles in a straight line, overlapping as you go. 7. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until pastry is puffed and golden brown. 8. Remove from the pan immediately and allow to cool. 9. Slice and serve on paper plates. 10. Serve plain, with caramel or chocolate topping, whipped cream, and/or a sprinkling of powdered sugar. 11.
