YEAR 5 – SMART READER
Once, there were two princess sisters named Elsa and Anna. They lived in
Arendelle. Elsa was born with the power to create and control snow and ice.
However, Anna was completely ordinary. One night, a mishap happened when Elsa
was playing with her sister. Elsa accidently hit Anna with her magical power. King
Agnarr and her wife, Queen Iduna were worried. Then, they went see the trolls.
Luckily, Anna was safe. Since then, King Agnarr ordered his palace close and Elsa
be confined until she could overcome her anger and fear.
Many years after, Elsa was crowned Queen of Arendelle replacing her late
father who died when his ship sank in the North Sea. On the coronation day, Anna
met Hans, a charming prince and decided to marry him. She told Elsa about her
plan but the queen was very upset. As Anna confronted her sister, Elsa splashed
her magic and turned the summer into winter. Fearing the magic could harm her
people, Elsa ran away and built her palace on North Mountain. Anna, who was shock
by the incident promised to bring Elsa back and made things right.
In searching for Elsa, Anna met Kristof, the ice man. Then, they met Olaf
which was made alive by her sister. After some time, they reached Elsa’s
stunningly beautiful palace. Anna persuaded Elsa to return home but her sister
wanted to stay on the mountain alone. When Anna told her sister about Arendelle
which was in the deep snow, Elsa couldn’t control her fear anymore. In a spur of
the moment, she spelled her magic and hurt her sister again. Witnessing the
incident, Kristof ran to save Anna. Quickly, he took the princess home.
Before Kristof and Anna arrived at the palace, Hans and his men caught
Elsa, took the queen to Arendelle and jailed her. Later, Anna met Hans and urged
him to marry her. However, the cunning prince had another plan. He wanted to
remove Elsa from the throne but Elsa managed to escape. Not long later, Hans
found the queen in the snow. As he raised his sword over her, Anna stopped him.
Because of Elsa’s spell, Anna immediately turned into a frozen statue. Feeling so
sad, Elsa wept out of love for her sister. All of a sudden, her tears thawed Anna
into life.
With the power of love too, Elsa brought back the summer and since then
on, the princesses lived happily ever after.

you!”. The three friends ran to the staff room quickly. There, they met Mr. Ted and told
him about Benny. Mr. Ted listened attentively and then investigating Benny. He found Benny
to be guilty so he ordered Benny to wash toilets for a week. Feeling ashamed, Benny
repented and promised not to be a bully again.
