The Police Certificate usually takes 90 days to be issued by a Police Force and is valid for 90 days. If issued by a Police Force other
than the country where the visa will be collected, it MUST be legalized by the Brazilian Consulate in the respective
Country/Jurisdiction and, if not in English, Portuguese or (in some cases) French or Spanish, the certificate should be translated by a
notarized translator. After the visa is approved, this is one of the documents required to collect the visa at the chosen Brazilian
Consulate.
