• Lara: Mr. Lincoln, I am happy to have this interview with one of the
remarkable US presidents. To know you well, tell us a little about
yourself.
• Lincoln: It is my pleasure too to have this interview. I was an American
statesman and a lawyer. I served as the 16th president of the United
States from 1861 until 1865. I led the nation through the American Civil
War, the country's greatest moral, cultural, constitutional, and political
crisis.
• Lara: what do you think about mercy?
• Lincoln: I have always found that mercy bears a richer fruits than strict
justice.
• Lara: Nice, What is the best thing you were known for?
• Lincoln: I was known as a hero because I am the one who freed slaves
in U.S.A
