Product Installation
Installation Types
Outdoor fixed mounted LED display can be installed in the following 6 types. Please select appropriate
installation type as per site environment:
Preparation work before installation
Outdoor LED display frame design should minimize structural weight, while ensuring sufficient mounting
strength and should look good.
1. Before installing the cabinet, please check if the steel structure parameters are appropriate:
• Bottom structure should be stable and solid.
• Is the structure width and height appropriate?
• The distance between the 2 square hollow bars (or angle iron) should be the same (when cabinet size is
the same).
• Is the maintenance-channel position appropriate? Check if it is blocking disassembly and maintenance
of power distribution box and modules.
• Steel structure welding should be firm and complete, surface appearance should be nice and even.
2. Installation order for the cabinets should start from center moving to both sides, and from bottom to top,
according to the number of cabinets.
Installation methods are as follows.
• Gently lift and place the cabinets. Be careful not to damage the LED and cabinet structure.
• Control the installation gap between cabinets. Generally keep within 2mm.
• After finishing each cabinet row, make sure it is stable and horizontal at the same level before installing
an upper row.

Convenient front installation design enables fast installation without maintenance-channel at the back of the
display, greatly saving space.
Cabinet Rear Installation

Product comes with standard mounting holes, easy for rear installation.
Cabinet Installation Method
Produce steel structure according to different installation method (Take column installation for example)
as shown below:
Cabinet installation sequence: First install the middle cabinet followed by the two sides (see below):
Use connecting plates and bolts to fix the cabinet onto the square hallow bar (as shown below):
After completing one row of cabinets’ installation, start installing the next upper row of cabinets. (See
below):
Decorate appropriately after the cabinets’ installation is finished. (See below)
Product Wiring
Power Cable Wiring
• Preparation before wiring
Before connecting to power supply and switching on control signal to the entire screen, please carefully check the
power supply and signal cable connections. Please carefully check the "L" line, "N" line and "PE" of each cabinet’s
AC inlet, and ensure there is no short circuit between the three lines (Use multimeter to measure).
• Power cable wiring description
Please calculate and select the appropriate distribution box model according to the maximum power consumption of
XD6 630 W/m2, XD10 660W/m2. Please consult your distribution box manufacturer for the specific options. The
cabinet’s input voltage is 100-240 V/AC. Select the distribution box according to the display’s total power. When the
display’s total power is larger than 10 KW, it is generally recommended to use 3-phase 5-wire 380 V/190V input
electricity to the distribution box, then output 220V/110V single-phase electricity from the distribution box to supply
power for the display:
Note: Lightning proof device, timers, AC contactor, current and voltage sensors are optional as per requirement.
Use 3X2.5 mm2 cable to connect from distribution box to cabinet. When input power supply is 220V, each power
cable can
support maximum 8 cabinets’ load; when input voltage is 110V, each power cab can support maximum 4 cabinets’
load.
Take XD6 product 6x4 cabinets for example. Following are instructions for power and signal cables connection
method:
Power cabling:
Total power for 24 units of 640x960mm cabinets is 24x0.64x0.96x630W = 14.7KW. Taking into account surplus
requirement and lighting electricity, select a 20 KW main distribution box. The main cable uses 3-phase 5-wire 380V
input to the main distribution box. Use 3x2.5 mm 2 power cable to connect from distribution box to the display.
Connect each row of 6 cabinets with power cable in series, and then connect the power distribution box to the first
cabinet.
Power cable can be connected from the left or right cabinet, as shown below:
3X2.5mm²
20KW Distribution Box
Network Cabling
Cat 5
USB cable
Sending
card
DVI cable
Based on actual situation, network cables can be connected in left-right "Z" type or up-down "S" type format. Please
connect the signal cables according to each cabinet’s pixels: XD6 (96x144), XD10 (64x96), as per the load range of
the transmission card. Please note that the load pixel range of each network interface should be no more than
650,000 pixels.

Check Power Supply Short Circuit
After completing the cabinet wiring, please use a multimeter to measure if there is any short circuit at the
AC input power supply (L / N / PE) and DC output terminal (VCC / GND). If there is a short circuit, please
carefully investigate the wirings. Make sure all wirings are normal, and only then connect power to operate
the unit.
