DIRECTIONS
Research cardiac cells and cardiac cell regeneration. Explain what cardiac cells are, where
they’re found, what their function is; include unique characteristics and what sets them apart
from other human body cells and tissues. Furthermore, discuss the concept of cell regeneration
as it pertains to cardiac cells. Include advances or breakthroughs in current medicine that
focuses on cardiac cell regeneration.
Your sources of information must be peer reviewed in professional publications, journals,
websites, etc., and they cannot be any more than 5 years old. Do NOT use Wikipedia, social
media, WebMD, blogs, YouTube, etc.








A running-header, abstract, and cover page are not required; however, a “works cited” (aka
reference page) IS.
Margins should be no greater than 1’ on all sides
Font size no greater or less than 12pt (Times New Roman or Arial font).
