A: NEAP Sim Card is used for the participation of NEAP-recognized Professional Development (PD) Programs. Q: Who are the eligible recipients of the NEAP Sim Card? A: The eligible recipients are (1) Teachers I-III and Master Teachers I-IV and (2) with reliable SMART connectivity sources subject to distribution and allocation guidelines. Q: How much load does a NEAP Sim Card have? A: The NEAP SIM will have a connectivity load called NEAP379 for a period of one month. Transform 3 FAQs (Availing Top ups/Reload) Q: How do I activate my NEAP Sim Card? A: To activate your NEAP sim, you can perform a balance inquiry by: a. Texting ?1515 to 214 for free. b. Dialing *214# and press Call to receive load balance via text for free. Q: How to avail top-ups/reload? A: To avail of the succeeding top-up, you must continue to attend a NEAP-Recognized Professional Development Program. Q: How many top-ups will I be able to receive? Transform 4 FAQs (Registration) Q: Do I really need to register my NEAP sim number? A: It is mandatory that every NEAP sim card recipient registers his/her details and the sim number. The unique sim number assigned to each teacher shall be the gateway to enrollment in the PDIS. Q: How to register my NEAP Sim number? A: Register only on the links found on www.deped.gov.ph/neap/register.html. Make sure that you are logged on to your @deped.gov.ph email address. The registration forms only accept such accounts. The PDIS is just creating a temporary password for every account, thus, changing password is important. You can be assured that your accounts are private and secure. I could not do the PDIS password reset at this time because the system can't find my email address? Your account is not yet registered in PDIS. Account will be uploaded in the PDIS database once the registered NEAP sim number and other details are correct or already corrected. I am not a NEAP Sim recipient, will I have also a PDIS account? Yes, all public teachers and school leaders are required/ordered to have a PDIS account to record, track, monitor, and analyze their professional development participation. A: You have to secure a notarized affidavit of loss and present it with 1 valid ID and the Sim Packaging to the nearest SMART store to you. Q: I don't have an extra phone for this, how can I use it? A: Other than mobile phones and tablets, you may insert the Sim Card either in prepaid Wi-Fi or pocket Wi-Fi. Q: I am not a NEAP Sim recipient, how can I avail such support from NEAP? A: Teachers who are not provided with NEAP sim cards are allowed to reimburse the communications expenses they have incurred for having attended NEAP-Recognized Professional Development Program and Courses (NEAP-PDP).
