The purpose of this document is to standardized RET naming
RET Naming Convention
Summary
We are facing several issues with RET naming due to there
is no known naming convention available. Each market engineer
maintaining RET naming differently and within the sites there is
different naming convention for different bands. In some sites BTS
ID mixed with Sector RET ID.
In this document we are explaining how we can assign RET
naming. This RETS naming convention will be applicable to all new
and existing sites including Ericsson and NSN sites going forward.
Right now there is no process define for renaming RETs for existing
sites.

Sector ID/RET
Below is the naming Syntax for Ret naming.
<Sector name>_”ANT”<antenna
number>_<Low/Mid>”BandRET.”<R/Y|Low=R,Mid=Y><ret number>_<Band ID>
Example:
RET Naming for Alpha sector of a site with one Dengyo 8 ports Antenna with 4 RETs motors.
