9.1 QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT
The objectives which underpin the policy are:
1. To develop a full understanding of the needs of out clients and interested bodies
2. To work in close co-operation with clients, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to provide the right
quality work and service, first time on time all the time.
3. Actively to seek customer feedback and to use this as a format for continuous assessment and
development.
4. To develop the potential of our employees to ensure all members of staff are capable of undertaking work
required in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the company’s Health and Environmental
policies
An achievement of these policy aims involves all staff, who is individually responsible of the quality of their work,
resulting in a continually improving working environment for all.
Various perspectives are fully committed to delivering the objectives of this quality policy statement within all its
activities and work undertaken by the company.
Various perspectives has implemented a management structure that is based on the quality and commitment of its
professional and experienced management and construction staff.
The Managing Director has specific responsibility for ensuring that the management structure reflects the quality
standard, so that compliance with this Quality Policy is maintained and improved on.

Various Perspectives
We are continually developing the company’s operations and upgrading of IT systems. We are also investing to a
high degree, in staff training to professional level. We use local facilities like Madilelo Training Centre, BOCCIM and
such to upgrade our employee’s professional status for the benefit of out clients in particular and the nation in
general.
Various Perspectives approach is to listen to our clients and customers and to openly discuss the individual
requirements to every contract, thus ensuring that out clients remain fully satisfy with out service delivery.
With each project we undertake, a Quality Plan is implemented, encompassing control measures that ensure the
client’s requirement are met, within the specified time, and in line with the budget. To this end, we endeavor to work
as a committed team in a spirit of co-operation with the client and their customers.
Various Perspectives’’ management and supervisory staff the authority to make decisions, within the scope of their
responsibilities, and are charged with working in accordance with the documented procedures.
Various Perspectives’ Quality objectives are:
 Ensure to meet in full the requirements of the client
 To reduce waste and loss
 To carry out all out activities within our environmental policy guidelines, thus helping to ensure a sustainable
environment for the benefit of the community
 To continually identify improvements to existing working practices.
In order for Various Perspectives to achieve the above objectives, every employee and sub-contractor must:

9.2.0 ENVIRONMENT POLICY
Various Perspectives (Pty) Ltd is committed to limit its impact on the environment and abide by environmental
regulations and requirements in which it is operating. It will further promote sustainable development through
constructive stakeholder engagements.
This will be achieved through the following:
1. Developing policies, procedures and guidelines to effectively manage work related exposures, risks, impacts
and promote efficient use of natural resources such as water, land and energy.
2. Preventing environmental pollution by applying best practice principles such as reuse, reduce and recycle of
waste.
3. Developing measurement and monitoring tools to ensure effective risk control and reduction of environment
pollution.
4. Measurement and monitoring of risks to ensure effectiveness of implemented controls
5. Ensuring employees are consulted and contribute to decision making on environmental issues
6. Promoting efficiency and reducing company losses by providing all personal with the relevant Environmental
training to allow them to conduct business in a more responsible manner.
7. To undertake environmental audit once a year.

Various Perspectives (Pty) Ltd is committed to preventing the accidental loss of any of its resources, including
employees and physical assets and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property
damage, accidents, or personal injury/illness.
This will be achieved through the following:
1. Management shall provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, in accordance with industry
standards and in compliance with legislative requirements.
2. Management recognizes that the responsibility for health and safety are shared. All employees will be
equally responsible for minimizing accidents within our facilities and on our work sites.
3. Accidental loss can be controlled through good management in combination with active employee
involvement. Safely in the direct responsibility of all managers, supervisor, employees, and contractors.
4. All management activities will comply with company safety requirements as they relate too planning,
operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
5. All employees will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established procedures and safe work
practices.

9.4 HIV/AIDS & DREADFUL DISEASES POLICY
Various Perspectives (Pty) Ltd recognizes the importance of promoting awareness and development of management
programmes on HIV/AIDS, wellness and dreadful diseases (e.g. sugar diabetes, cancer) affecting its personnel.
Based on our moral values the company commits to consistently adhere to the requirements of this policy.
In achieving the above the company asserts to:
1. Develop affective educational programmes aiming at raising awareness on HIV/AIDS, wellness and dreadful
diseases.
2. Liaising with relevant stakeholders and employees to enhance positive impact on the lives of the employees
3. Ensuring that the company complies with the applicable legislative requirements pertaining to HIV/AIDS,
wellness and dreadful diseases wherever it is operating.
4. Develop management policies that will guard against discrimination of employees living with HIV/AIDS and
suffering form dreadful diseases and ensure confidentiality regarding their status.
5. Developing policies, procedures and guidelines to effectively manage work related stressors.
6. Ensuring personnel are consulted and contribute to decision making on HIV/AIDS and wellness issues
7. Appointing staff to take responsibility for the implementation of various aspects of Wellness/ HIV/AIDS the

9.5 TRAINING POLICY
Ss on of the leading Electrical Companies in Botswana in Electrical Engineering Contracting, Management saw the
need to empower Botswana Citizens while they serve at different levels.
The company has trained and continues to train its employees on site. Employees who serve a period of at least two
years and have no formal Electrical Knowledge are encouraged to prepare themselves to undergo trade test under
the Madielelo Trade training Centre.
The company has made arrangements with University of Botswana to send at least two attachment students every
year.
Other institutions we have similar arrangements are:
i.
Botswana College of Engineering & Technology. (BCET)
ii.
Selibe Phikwe Technical College
iii.
ABM college
iv.
Gaborone Technical College
The company only accepts students form institutions registered in Botswana and approved by the Botswana Training
Authority.
Any student may be taken for attachment when he/she meets our minimum requirements namely:
i.
Has accommodation in a town/city where we are operating or have an ongoing project.
ii.
Will accept to undergo safety training
iii.
Has a letter from the institution
iv.
Student sign a contract to accept minimum conditions including abiding by the code of conduct set at every
client’s location.
Students are not segregated based on their, Skin color, Gender, HIV status, Physical status or college of origin.
Our training programme is well tailored to suit the training requirements of the various institutions from where
students come and the industry will be entering into once they complete their studies.
Various Perspectives will endeavor to train students to take up global Engineering challenges.
