Wet the tissue paper and it was placed at the base of the cup. 2. The beans were placed on the wet tissue. 3. This cup was placed in well lit area(sunlight) and daily observations made for fourteen days. Observations on height and seed germination process made (using drawings). 4. Results were recorded on Table 1 below. Diagram 1- Shows the set of the experiment. OBSERVATIONS AND RESULTS Observations: The red bean is a kidney shape bean that is red in color. 2|Page Results: TABLE 1 DAY 1 2 3 4 5 HEIGHT/CM 0 0 0 0 0 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 0 0 0 0.1 1 3 3 4 14 5 OBSERVATIONS Nothing happened Nothing happened Nothing happened Red bean skin gets wrinkly Color from the red bean goes on the paper Red bean starts to smell bad Red bean splits Nothing happened Small stalk grows out Stalk grows more Bean turns green Roots grow out Stalk grows more with beans on stem Beans fall off DISCUSSION The objective of the experiment was to see how germination works for organic plant life grows from seeds to plants CONCLUSION: Seeds have the ability to germinate in the presence of moisture, air, and light under the right temperature, even in the absence of soil. You can repeat the same experiment but keep the cup in a dark place instead of placing it in light
