The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA) is the official national organization of students taking up Accountancy and other Accounting-related curricula. It is the only national student organization fully recognized and accredited by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). In our almost 39 years of service, we have been an integral part of nation-building by empowering nearly 75,000 members from more than 370 Local Chapters governed by 13 Regional Councils across the nation - thus, supplying the nation with a quality workforce worthy of global recognition. In this regard, we shall conduct the 6th Philippine Accountancy Congress, entitled, IDILAIA: Championing Inclusive Opportunities and Global Competencies. The said event allows students to explore career paths and opportunities as well as ways to leverage their way into professional growth and employment through virtual masterclasses on technical topics and soft skills from a diverse range of sponsoring firms and competitions requiring and testing their application and retention of learning. The aforementioned event will be held online, via Zoom Cloud Meetings and Facebook Group on April 9 - 10, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday). Below is the event profile sheet for the 6th Philippine Accountancy Congress: EVENT THEME VENUE EVENT PROFILE SHEET IDILAIA: Championing Inclusive Opportunities and Global Competencies The 6th Philippine Accountancy Congress intends to become the stepping stone towards building career roadmaps and global competence inclusively, by exposing opportunities. IDILAIA is derived from the Gods of Philippine Mythology and consists of three Filipino deities, each of whom represents the three themes of this year's Accountancy Congress: opportunity, global competence, and inclusivity. In the presence of IDIanale, the goddess of labor, who represents opportunities; MaLAIkat, who represents global competence and protects and guides humans in their work by instilling virtues such as diligence and hard work; and AgtaYAbun, a well-known peacemaker who represents inclusivity. With the presence of these three deities, graduating and penultimate delegates will be guided as they venture into new opportunities and along their paths towards the post-graduate world.
