Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants
Invitation to the 6th Philippine Accountancy Congress
Dear JPIAns,
Greetings of Peace and Prosperity!
The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants
(NFJPIA) is the official national organization of students taking up
Accountancy and other Accounting-related curricula. It is the only
national student organization fully recognized and accredited by
the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
In our almost 39 years of service, we have been an integral part of
nation-building by empowering nearly 75,000 members from more
than 370 Local Chapters governed by 13 Regional Councils across
the nation - thus, supplying the nation with a quality workforce worthy
of global recognition.
In this regard, we shall conduct the 6th Philippine Accountancy
Congress, entitled, IDILAIA: Championing Inclusive Opportunities
and Global Competencies. The said event allows students to explore
career paths and opportunities as well as ways to leverage their way
into professional growth and employment through virtual
masterclasses on technical topics and soft skills from a diverse range
of sponsoring firms and competitions requiring and testing their
application and retention of learning.
The aforementioned event will be held online, via Zoom Cloud
Meetings and Facebook Group on April 9 - 10, 2022 (Saturday and
Sunday).
In line with this, we would like to invite you to be part of the 6 th
Philippine Accountancy Congress and support this event with your
utmost willingness and participation.

IDILAIA: Championing Inclusive
Opportunities and Global Competencies
The 6th Philippine Accountancy Congress
intends to become the stepping stone
towards building career roadmaps and
global competence inclusively, by exposing
opportunities. IDILAIA is derived from the
Gods of Philippine Mythology and consists of
three Filipino deities, each of whom
represents the three themes of this year's
Accountancy Congress: opportunity, global
competence, and inclusivity. In the
presence of IDIanale, the goddess of labor,
who represents opportunities; MaLAIkat,
who represents global competence and
protects and guides humans in their work by
instilling virtues such as diligence and hard
work; and AgtaYAbun, a well-known
peacemaker who represents inclusivity. With
the presence of these three deities,
graduating and penultimate delegates will
be guided as they venture into new
opportunities and along their paths towards
the post-graduate world.
