Gap in Knowledge and Research Questions It is evident that most studies on the impact of positive teacher-student relationship towards the learning development of students are heavily foreign and mostly quantitative. The majority of studies on the impact of positive teacher-student relationships on student learning progress are clearly foreign and primarily quantitative. This study looked at freshmen BSED college students, using qualitative research. As a result, this research will be carried out in order to fill the information gap. Research Questions The purpose of conducting this study is to describe the effects of social media on the selfesteem of freshmen BSED-Science students in LNU. The Following are the research questions that will be addressed in this study: 1. How does social media use affect participants’ thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors? 2. How does social media use affect participants’ relationship with their peers, parents, and siblings?
