Standard RL.6.3 Describe how a particular story’s or drama’s plot unfolds in a series of episodes as well
as how the characters respond or change as the plot moves toward a resolution.
Standard W.6.7 Conduct short research projects to answer a question, drawing on several
sources and refocusing the inquiry when appropriate.

Ok, this is a song video about plot. Because I’m asking you to describe a story and how it unfolds in a
series of episodes (like chapters, or important sections) you need to focus on each one of these details.
Now, I know this is a review, but the next lesson I’ll be stepping it up a little, and you will need to know
these terms and be able to EXPLAIN them to me.
1. Pick a story you like. You can use a Greek Mythology story and read it (HINT: this will help you in
History!)
2. Using this story, fill in each of the terms with events in your story.
INTRODUCTION (also known as exposition)
RISING ACTION
CLIMAX
FALLING ACTION
RESOLUTION
Good luck, see you in my virtual office Wednesday, 10am!
