BIOLOGY PHOTOSYNTHESIS By Sarah Mulia Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar FACTORS THAT AFFECT PHOTOSYNTHESIS Sunlight or Light intensity rate of reaction of photosynthesis will be faster in presence of light and will be slow down in the dark. FACTORS THAT AFFECT PHOTOSYNTHESIS Concentration of Carbon Dioxide the more carbon dioxide a plant is given, the faster it can photosynthesis up until the maximum is reached. FACTORS THAT AFFECT PHOTOSYNTHESIS Temperature chemical reactions increases as the temperature increase until reach the optimum temperature and next rate of photosynthesis will decreases as the temperature increases IMPORTANCE OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS basic reaction to brings sun's energy into ecosystem maintaining a constant global level of oxygen and carbon dioxide produce oxygen for respiration to reduce level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
