Welcome to the Hayes Children Development Center About Us. Hayes Children Development Center has been a calling for Shamikka Hayes, who is the owner and director of the center. As a single parent with 2 kids, she was troubled by the lack of care and learning environment that her kids had to endure. This created a calling and passion for Shamikka to see that no parent has to experience the lack of development and care she had to endure. Thus, the creation of the Hayes Children Development Center. Here at the Hayes Children Development Center we provide quite a few levels of care. A few examples are 12 hour X 5 Day a week daycare, Age group 0 through 2 - Healthy eating habits - Learning Fine Motor Skills and Acceptable Social Interactions - Age Group 3 to 5 - Learning basic ABC Learning effective communication Social Interaction with understanding of Right and Wrong Math Cleaning up after self - - - After School Program Tutoring with certified Teacher Assistance. One on One Tutoring upon Parenting request Social Interaction and Team building excises. Parenting Classes for Expecting and New Parents Learn the psychology of Parenting Learning to speak your child’s language. Mediation and yoga for parent stress. Once a Month date night for the parents with Caretakers handling the children to let mom and dad decompress. Co-planning with School and Doctors IEP meetings with School psychologists and therapist to come up with plan to help with kids that may need more care and time.
