You must have observed her taking your phone and watching certain videos over the same. In Delhi NCR, Extramarks has taken an initiative wherein they are running a campaign particularly for class 6-10 students and providing them with an academic counseling session. What this campaign is? How it is going to be? What is going to happen in the counselling session? I’ll brief you about it later but prior to that I would like to know, How Nikita is performing academically? What was her percentage in the last year? Is she a person of 60s, 70s, 80, 90s or above? Who looks after Nikita’s studies primarily? (fetch the father's profession here) How does Nikita study in your view? Does she enjoy her studies? Which subject does she like the most? Which subject she finds challenging Does she ask doubts often? To you or teachers in school? (Which school does she go to?) Basically, This session is going to be of 1- 1.5 hours where in a counsellor/teacher will be visiting you at your residence. He/she will be having one on one interaction with you and nikita as well in order to analyse, What is her approach towards learning? How much conceptually sound she is? Where is she facing the problems? where are the loopholes? And How Extramarks can help her out. Students have a vast syllabus which they end up partially memorising which makes them dislike studies. (Why they end up memorizing as they can relate with real-life examples and Visualization importance to be conveyed through examples of a movie.) You must have observed there are certain students in her class who are performing better than her and there might be certain students who are scoring lesser than her. Sir, when everyone is going to the same school, being taught by the same teacher, sitting in the same class. The difference range in the scoring patterns is thus, a direct measure of their understanding. In order to see, what her understanding pattern is and how her concepts have been up till now. Teacher/counsellor will be conducting of test of hers based on her current/ last year curriculum. We do not judge a student on the basis of marks and grades but on curiosity and interest to learn. If the teacher/counselor finds potential into her, he/she might offer her a scholarship. This scholarship is going to be over Extramarks learning modules which will be discussed in detail after the analysis. In this initiative, we are providing our Achieve Program to certain students which is all about dedicated mentorship. Achieve just not only solve doubts and queries which Nikita is facing or she might not be able to ask her teachers but also provides personalized guidance and motivation to study. In case nikita gets the scholarship and you feel like learning programme is beneficial for her, you can go ahead with the enrolment procedure. One thing which needs to be done prior to the session is you also go through the content and watch certain videos over the learning application. since it’s nikita only who is aware of the learning methodology and have seen the content. If you ll also go through the videos prior to the session then it will be easier for you as well to understand and connect with the teacher. And make sure there are no changes in the timings because had this session not been provided to her, it could have been provided to some other kid. All the very best for the session!
