A Knights Life Braden Venger 11/19/20 Social Club: With the Gaming at UCF I got to meet Sergio one of the leaders of this club and told me how Gaming at UCF just wants to bring people together during these weird times and still have fun despite the challenges. The night I attended was Among Us night, I love this game and I knew that it would need a lot of people for the games to get going so I thought it would be a good way for me to make some friends outside of my roommates. And I had a great time got to meet some cool and odd characters. I ended up making some friends and still playing the game with them today. UCF Sponsored Club: Men’s lacrosse was a weird one for me because I was scared with teams how it would go. Some teams are really family oriented and close. I was not looking for that more of a way to get some exercise. My honest opinion is that I will probably be finding a different way of getting some exercise next year I knew me being a freshman was going to be weird trying to join a sports team, but I thought I have to start somewhere. I do not think this is the place. The practices were very rigorous, and by rigorous, I mean they did not really fit my schedule I couldn’t be at the field all the time they needed me with the weird time of my classes. Also, I was not having an easy time with school so trying to focus on lacrosse was even harder. Lacrosse benefitted me because I now know how the intermural sports teams work and if I wanted to try one later down the line then I think it would be good for me.
