Tool(s): clay as the basement of sculpture
Technique (s): panting, draw paints on both sides of sponge. Rolling, roll the clay in to
shapes.
Idea of activity: first, children paint the sponge, then put the sponge on to a straw. Next using
fingers and palm to sculpture the clay. Then locate the straw with sponge onto clay.
Variation: straw can be replaced by sticks
Age group of children: 5-10year old
Precautions to be used, if necessary: making sure the sponge is clean, and avoiding any
kinds of allergy.
