Conclusion :
Despite needing so much time and space to identify, the cause of
the complex problem of climate change is relatively straightforward:
● we burn too many fossil fuels.
◦ For example, we burn huge quantities of coal to make electricity
and oil and gas to power cars and planes. If we continue to do so,
we will cause such significant warming that the planet will become
uninhabitable.

Recording activity :
Students will work in pair to produce a speech bubbles presentation. (refer to
the image)
This will show the different groups that have a vested interest in maintaining the
current usage of energy produced by burning fossil fuels. The groups (oil
producing companies, car manufacturers, energy sectors players ,
governments ) should be represented with an image and their position
explained through speech balloons.
Reflection :

situation.
