Assignment No. 1
Part 1: (5+5+5)
a) Install Arduino IDE in your Laptops and write the procedure in the form of web article
b) Install Proteus Professional in your Laptops and Write the procedure in the form of a web article.
c) Install the library for Arduino in the Proteus Professional and write the procedure with supporting
screenshots. (Take help from YouTube)
Each Article should contain the screenshots of each step of the installation and should not
exceed 3 pages. Write in your own words. I will check the Installed Software on your laptops
and then marks will be given.
Part 2: (10+5)
a) Explain the internal circuitry of Arduino Mega. The answer should cover at least following points(
you can cover more things for grace marks) .
i) RAM/Memory
ii) Serial and parallel communication pins
iii) Digital Analogue and PWM pin (both input and output)
iv) its data sheet containing its maximum and minimum current and voltage limitations
v) ICSP
(No more than 3 pages at Standard writing Fonts)
b) Compare Arduino and Raspberry pi in the following parameters.
i) Portability
ii) Power consumption
iii) Processing Speed
iv) Memory
v) Industrial Applications
vi) Durability
vii) Price
viii) Why and when should we choose Arduino over Raspberry pi?
xi) Why and when should we choose Raspberry over Arduino?

2) Assignment Deadline is 27th March 2022
3) Total Mark are 40 in which Part 1=15 Marks, Part 2=15 and Viva from the Assignment =10
Marks. Don't afraid from the Viva it will be much simpler if you will make the assignment yourself.
Only Purpose of taking the viva is to prepare you for future Job Interviews and to enhance your grip
on the concepts. At the end of the day its you, who will be benefited.
4) Weightage 10% of the Lab
5) 50 percent plagiarism is allowed.
6) Copied Assignment will be Marked 0.
7) Marks will be deducted on late submission @ 5 marks per day.
8) Viva of this assignment will be taken in your respective lab slots.
9) Please include Picture Captions, Proper Heading and sub headings numbering, Table of
Contents and Cover Page. It will carry Marks.
