MLA format requires all paragraphs, even the first, to be indented. This paper
uses a 12 point Times New Roman font. The entire paper, including the heading, is
double-spaced. Insert the appropriate information into the heading, give your paper a
title, and be sure to add your last name next to the page number in the top right corner of
the paper (AKA in your header).
Never press enter twice between two paragraphs in MLA style. The tab key
moves your first line in for the indent of each new paragraph. If you press Command
(cmd) and enter, your cursor will move to a new blank page. Do this now to begin typing
your short story.
