Accreditation of Private Pharmacies and Diagnostic Centers
Lusaka, Monday, 23rd November 2020
In accordance with the National Health Insurance Act No. 2 of 2018, the National Health Insurance Management
Authority (NHIMA) is mandated to accredit both public and private Health Care Providers to provide insured health
care services to its national Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) members.
The National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) is pleased to inform the public that it has accredited
eight (8) Private HCPs i.e. Private Pharmacies and Diagnostic Centers, to provide insured healthcare services under
NHIS. This brings the total number of accredited healthcare providers to 140 under the NHIS network. The full list of
accredited facilities can be accessed on our website www.nhima.co.zm.
NOTICE is hereby issued that the accredited private HCPs will provide insured healthcare services to NHIS members
