REPELLAN® T
Hydrophobic agent
REPELLAN T is applied as water repellant finish on all types of fibers. It is especially
suitable for hydrophobic finishing in cases where toxicological safety is required.
PRODUCT FEATURES

Imparts excellent water-repellent effects

Does not change considerably the hand and the air permeably of the fabric

Has a good running property on the padding machine.

Compatibility:
compatible with cationic and non-ionic auxiliaries, with cross-linking
agents and the catalysts usually applied in resin finishing, with antislip and fixing agents. In combination with other finishing products
the water repellent effects can be decreased. Pre-trials are
recommended.

Fabric preparation
Residues of alkali, sizing agents, lubricants and detergents as well
as non fixed dyestuff particles and carriers residues can influence
the water repellent effects negatively.
For the pre-cleaning and scouring, anionic detergents (e.g.
MILTOPAN 503 or GERBASOL 4133) have proved to be especially
effective. In order to remove nonionic surfactants a treatment with
SECURON 540 is recommended.
