Teaching Philosophy “Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the future.” - Nelson Mandela Teaching for me is not just a profession, it’s my passion. I strongly believe that teaching should always be student-centric, where a student should always have the comfort to speak their mind and heart out. I believe in imparting education by using student-friendly approaches, and try to adopt methods where I can identify their inadequacies as areas of their betterment. I am persistent in providing holistic development to student’s by utilizing both traditional and new genre ed-tech tools. Making the classes interesting and interactive has always been motto. I stay focused on honing the skills of students from academics to co-curricular, so that after they graduate, they can stand sunbeam amidst the crowd. As a teacher I have always had a student friendly approach in my teaching, allowing the students to have the space and stage to express their views and put forth their notions. In my classes, I have made sure that my students, during the three-year period can hone not only their academic skills, but also their public speaking skills, co-curricular realm, and above all their personality. On my journey of being a teacher especially in a girls college, has made me capable of carving some profound students, who have achieved great heights of success, by being University Toppers and being proudly placed in companies like IBM, TCS, Indigo, ICICI, Axis, Radisson, Taj Group, Indian Oil, Accenture and more. My biggest achievement since 2016 as a teacher, will be stated to be the ability to craft hundreds of young independent women, who are leaving their marks on the society by being a responsible human being and citizens of world. The year 2020 and till date, has been the toughest for the education fraternity to keep the passion of learning alive amongst the students, as a break so big or nearly a zero year will undoubtedly have a huge impact on the human capital of our world economy. I consider this pandemic period, as the key challenge of my career till now. Initially undoubtedly it was like a trip to Adventureland, but with time as I tried to become more of a learner of the latest upcoming and trending Ed-Tech tools, sooner it became like a cake-walk. During this time, I kept the virtual touch with the student’s and their family intact through weakly video calls, phone calls, messages and mails concerning their good health and well-being. I tried to be one of the greatest supports to all those girls, who lost their dear ones and tried to lend my counselling to all those who were shifting to depression. In the forthcoming years, I look forward to provide my best of the service to the higher education community, and to stand to the best of the support for my students.
