• Keywords would consists of about FIVE words
• Select keywords based on most commonly search words in Google
Scholar, Web of Science
• Preferably words different from the title
• No repetition of words from title (e.g. If in the title scientific name is
used, then the keyword would be the common name of family name)
• Ideally, a keyword is reflected into ONE major idea and discuss in ONE
heading
• Subject mater or focus area e.g. Evolution, South China Sea
Good Thesis Statement
• A thesis statement (ayat pembuka) has to be the first statement in in
the abstract or Introduction that reflect the major contents of the
paper
• Protecting nature is no longer deemed a whimsical luxury. It is an economic,
cultural and ecological necessity (Zakri Abdul Hamid, NST 12 March 2018)
• Represents a short and precise of overall overview of the research
outcome or synthesis of the major results
• A thesis statement is best to include all major factors or selected
keywords
Good Literature Review
• Ideal written literature review is a tabulated results from other
previous related studies on the subject matter.
