AP Calculus AB/BC Required Summer Assignment
Dear student,
This assignment is designed to review and reinforce algebraic and trigonometric concepts.
By covering this material right away, we will be able to begin learning calculus within the first
week of school.
Remember, the goal is for you to understand the material thoroughly so that we can focus on the
calculus material immediately when the school year begins.
It is required that you have this material completed by the first day of class in September.
You will be tested on this material in the first week of class and the test will count towards
your Quarter 1 grade.
Please make sure to complete the entire packet as the test will cover all of the major topics in
the packet.
You should be contacted by Mr. Misbahuddin for access to the textbook pages you will need to
complete the textbook portion of the packet. If you haven't been contacted, you can email him
