Explaining several parts in TOEFL Test
PENGENALAN TOEFL
• TOEFL ( Test of English as foreign language ) adalah
suatu tes standar Bahasa Inggris yang digunakan
untuk mengukur kemampuan seseorang dalam
berbahasa Inggris meliputi writing, reading dan
structure.
3 JENIS TES TOEFL
• Paper Base Test (PBT) merupakan jenis tes TOEFL yang
sangat popular diselenggarakan di institusi pendidikan dan
lembaga bahasa dengan menghadiri tempat tes dan soalnya
dicetak.
• Computer Based Test (CBT) merupakan jenis test TOEFL
yang menggunakan media komputer sebaga pengujinya.
• TOEFL IBT Interned based test merupakan tes yang diakui
secara global dan ujiannya dilakukan secara online pada
computer.
SESI TOEFL
1. Listening
Comprehension terdiri dari 50 soal dengan durasi 40 menit.
• Part A Short Comprehension mendengar sekitar 30 percakapan pendek diikuti 1
pertanyaan.
• Part B Long Comprehension mendengar sebuah percakapan panjang yang diikuti
beberapa pertanyaan
• Part C Talk mendengarkan ceramah atau pidato pendek diikuti beberapa pertanyaan
2. Structure akan menguji kemampuan grammar atau tata Bahasa terdiri dari
• struktur kalimat melengkapi bagian rumpang dalam mencari opsi yang benar
• error recognition mencari bagian yang salah pada kalimat yang digaris bawahi menurut
tata Bahasa
SESI TOEFL
• 3. Reading Comprehension menguji kemampuan anda dalam memahami
berbagai jenis teks ilmiah meliputi topik ide utama, isi bacaan, sinonim,
antonim, arti kata atau kelompok kata dan informasi detail yang berkaitan
dengan bacaan.
• 4.Written Test akan menguji kemampuan anda dalam menulis essay dalam
Bahasa Inggris. Commonly given for CBT TOEFL.

A. Simple Present, menurunkan beberapa jenis tense :
• Simple present tense (S +v1)
• Present continues (S+to be+Ving)
• Present perfect (S+have/has+V3)
• Present future (S+will/shall+V1)
• Present future continues (S+will/shall+be+Ving)
• Present perfect continues (S+have/has+been+Ving)
