purpose and to support children and adults in critical conditions and social disadvantage, courses for basic
adult education, courses for children of all ages, literacy courses, professionalization and crafts. Amal for
Education 's activities take place on a double track: a) development of open and intercultural educational and
training materials characterized by innovation and technology-focused approaches and b) implementation of
educational programs and management of training centres and courses addressed to target groups of
activities (refugees, people in poverty or poor educational level, marginalized). For both activities Amal
involves a coordination team made up of university professors from all over the world and volunteer groups of
different backgrounds in a multicultural and multilingual context.
Strategy and Object of the organization:
Amal for Education is firmly convinced that the first step for the acquisition of one's autonomy, for the pursuit
of happiness and personal fulfillment and development, and the ability to understand others, is in the
possibility of carrying out one's own path of growth and in seeking one’s own way to interpret the world.
Language and education provide these first irreplaceable tools.
We believe that education is the foundation of freedom, individual and collective, democratic, open, diverse,
and giving equal opportunities to girls and boys, women, and men. We believe in building a society of
coexistence, solidarity, inclusion, and respect.
