Teachers play important roles in the holistic development of the children therefore it is necessary for them to use appropriate teaching strategies and techniques to improve the teaching-learning process. One of the techniques that can affect in the development of the teaching-learning process is the art of questioning. Through giving of thoughtprovoking questions, we can develop our learners' critical, analytical and creative thinking which enable them to solve problems. In this connection, Canduman Elementary conducted its School-based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) on the Art of Questioning for the 21st Century Learners last October 29, 2021 @ two o’clock (2:00) in the afternoon via google meet. Participants to this session were all the teachers handling Science. The participants were exposed on the importance of asking effective questions in the delivery of the lessons to improve quality learning among pupils. Action words in Blooms Taxonomy is highly emphasized in formulating questions that measures pupils' knowledge, skills, attitudes, behavior and abilities. Let us all remember that teaching is merely about answering questions but rather on the how we raise questions that trigger the minds of the learners to think beyond what is imaginable.
